Houston Adventist Academy has been awarded the EXSEED Grant to strategically transform it pre-K through 12th-grade STEM curriculum. This initiative will embed Design Thinking principles and problem-based learning across all grade levels, supported by extensive faculty professional development and the equipping of a new innovation lab. The proposal was selected for its thoroughness, detailed lesson plans, and implementation-ready framework, which is design to be a replicable model for collaboration and innovation among other Adventist schools

San Antonio Christian Academy aims to transform the TK-8th grade school environment by establishing an innovation and Design Thinking Lab. The core goal is to shift the school culture so that "Design Time" becomes the intrinsic way students experience the curriculum. This will be achieved by integrating the Design Thinking process with problem-based learning to address real-life challenges. The proposal was selected for its strong community focus, seamless integration of faith and curriculum, and its potential as a practical, scalable models for small schools with fewer technology resources.
