Versacare STEM Recipient Testimonials
As a small private school, we don’t have the funds to do extra things that would enhance our curriculum and update our technology program. With this $5,000 grant, we were able to purchase some much-needed technology pieces as a great beginning to our new improved STEM program. We appreciate your generosity and pray God continues to bless you.
Denise Raphad, Head Teacher
Abundant Life Christian Academy (Las Vegas, NV)
Thank you so much for your contribution to the technology at our school! As we had dreamed, we now have an iPad for each student in our school. Due to careful searching for bargains, we were able to purchase much for that $5,000. We feel blessed to have your support. And we are using every means possible to give our students the best education possible for now and eternity.

The Atlanta North School was awarded $10,000 for purchases towards our STEM program enhancements. The generosity of Versacare to our school cannot be overstated. Your grant is making a major difference in the educational experience of our students’ every day.

Atlanta North School (Atlanta, GA)
We continue to be extremely grateful for the $10,000 STEM grant that was awarded to our school. The technology that was purchased with these generous funds has enriched our program abundantly! The technology improves teaching methods and student learning: Students read science text and assigned/approved videos on their iPads; take photos or videos of active learning to make presentations; interact with the whiteboard; use an iPad with the interactive Orboot Globe; program robots; use with OSMO; practice spelling or take pre-tests; and learn foreign languages using them.

Grants Pass SDA School (Grants Pass, OR)
We would like to thank you for your generosity in funding the $10,000 Versacare grant. We rely on financial aid, grants and donations to help bridge the gap between tuition income and school expenses. Receiving this grant helped reduce our financial burden and provided assistance for us to continue pursuing a quality educational experience for our students by updating our antiquated computer lab with current, user-friendly technology and uniform equipment.

Boise Valley Adventist School (Boise, ID)
Thank you so much for your generous funding with a $10,000 STEM grant to Frederick Adventist Academy. Your funds enabled us to complete our 1:1 Chromebook program for students in grades 1-8. It also provided a Chromebook charging cart for our third and fourth grade classroom. And for our teachers, we were able to purchase five smartboards and projectors.

Miramonte Christian School has had a goal of complete one-to-one technology for all of the students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Now, thanks to your gracious benevolence of the $10,000 Versacare grant, we added enough devices so that all students in grades 2- 6 now have one device for each student, and now the Chromebooks stay in the classroom, no moving around. Your generosity did more than provide Chromebooks. It helps students get enough practice with their math. It supports our reading program. It gives our children practice keyboarding and using Google products such as Google docs, sheets, and slides. It enables them to do research and understand the global community all around them. It helps them be authors and artists, speakers with presentations, as well as better readers and mathematicians.

On behalf of the Mt. Aetna School staff and students I want to say thank you for extending this generous opportunity to our ministry. We have had big dreams for how Mt. Aetna can become a cutting edge school, complete with technology that provides kids unprecedented access to 21st century learning tools and today I am happy to announce that we are one giant leap closer thanks in a big part to the $10,000 grant provide to our school by the Versacare Foundation. We were able to purchase, install, and equip 5 smart boards in 5 classrooms. And because we purchased carefully, we had enough money left over to purchase Smart Notebook software for each classroom, Smart document cameras for 5 classrooms, IPAD Air’s for 7 teachers, GYNZY smart presentation tools for 5 classrooms, and 12 new Chromebooks for our 5th grade students.

Your technology grant funding of $10,000 resulted in our purchase, wiring and installation of 3 Epson EB 595 WI projectors plus the installation of 4 touch screen white boards. We are thrilled that 3 teachers, plus additional users, now have the capability of making their white boards into a computer screen with the simple plug-in of their device. Students love to use this touchscreen white board during and after school! We even have a Sabbath School class make use of one of the classroom screens/projectors as it was intentionally installed in our multipurpose room.

The generous $5,000 grant from Versacare allowed us to have a computer lab again. The condition of the computers was old, outdated, and in disrepair. The donation allowed us to purchase 17 laptop computers and one desktop that serves as the server for the computer lab. The donation helped us to expand the STEM/STEAM program at the school with software, curriculum, and science supplies and internet upgrades. Because of your generous donation which expanded our resources for science, math and computer technology we were able to compete in the first Lego Robotics fair at Pine Forge Academy in April, 2019.

Dear Thomas and the Board at Versacare:
I want to thank you for giving my small one-teacher school a technology grant of $5000.00. Our small schools struggle to keep up with technology because of the high costs of the equipment. Your organization made it possible for me to greatly improve my classroom technology! Here is what I have accomplished.
Thank you again for your generosity!
Greg Reseck, Principal/Teacher
Cedarbrook Adventist Christian School.
