t was a long, hard academic year! Once June rolls around and classrooms have been packed up for the summer, teachers need a break. That is everyone except our NADOE 2022 summer committee teams!

An amazing group of over fifty educators from around the North American Division descended on our headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, to continue to create curriculum resources for our teachers. Some teams battled it out for a week, and some continued on for two weeks.

We sang together, laughed together, worshipped together, and worked long hours to deliver outstanding resources including:

  • Digital Resource Committee
  • Elementary Technology Standards Committee
  • ECE Infant, Toddler, and Twos Curriculum Development
  • New ECE resources
  • REACH updates
  • New curriculum adoptions
  • Standards-based Learning (SBL) pacing guides and sample unit plans for the Adventist Teacher Toolkit – an interactive digital platform that will be available as a one-stop shop for SBL
