New Experiences to Educators' Convention 2023!

Summer ’23

This year, at the 2023 Educators’ Convention, you have a unique opportunity to design innovative evangelism projects for grant funding. Schools have the chance to make their best pitch to create an evangelism opportunity to reach their community.

All ideas will be displayed at the convention center, outside the exhibit hall. Eight schools will be chosen to make a live, on-site pitch to our SPARK Tank judges. There will be a panel of judges to hear your proposal, ask questions and encourage you to move forward with your ideas.

We are looking forward to celebrating these exciting evangelistic ideas, getting our students involved in innovative soul-winning, and getting ideas for future events in our communities.

SPARK Tank and EdTalks will be on Tuesday, August 8th and Wednesday, August 9th.

Don’t miss the all-new EdTalks: Power to Lead at this year’s NAD Educators’ Convention. EdTalks is a series of leadership talks aimed to inspire and recharge school leaders through 18-minute, TED-style presentations. The EdTalks will have 600 school leaders and educators in attendance at each of the sessions. We have an exciting lineup of speakers including:

Nicole Mullins and Laura Story — Christian music artists

Taylor Hughes — Christian comedian

Dr. Alex Bryant, Dr. Carlton Byrd, Pastor Meshach Soli, and Adam Wamack — Inspiring Adventist leaders

Dr. Mario Acosta, Dr. Tina Boogren, and Dr. Doug Reeves — Dynamic education speakers

Join us. Two days. 12 Leaders. One Question:
Leadership. It all comes down to ________.

The STEM Experience is a large, interactive booth in the exhibit hall. Teachers will find an information area about STEM resources for NAD teachers. There is also a “Tinker Space” for elementary and middle-school teachers that’s full of STEM equipment for you to use, flexible seating to give you ideas for your classroom, and great giveaways for teachers. The high school area has interactive equipment for you to experiment with.

There are also hands-on, breakout sessions for teachers to engage your learners with information, innovation, creativity, and technology, to help your students understand how and why things work together. There are only 20 seats at each of these sessions. Be early!
