NAD is giving deeper study to standards-based learning, particularly its relationship to the curriculum design process and the alignment of grading/reporting practices. Future topics will explore essential questions and big ideas, unit and lesson planning, unpacking of standards, standards-based grading and reporting, alignment of assessments to standards, and use of data by schools.
