on’t miss this prime opportunity to tailor your professional growth and development at the 2018 North American Division Teacher’s Convention, August 6-9, in Chicago, Illinois.  We are planning for six thousand plus educators and administrators from across our division as well as outside.  Over 300 breakout sessions spread over six time slots will be available; all designed to enhance your professional growth and development.  As we are currently in the planning process, we are asking that you please assist us in ensuring that your needs as well as the needs of other educators will be met.  You can do this by taking just 10-15 minutes to go to the NAD 2018 Teachers' Convention Survey Monkey and complete a questionnaire which will assist us in choosing the breakouts. The deadline is March 31, 2018.

Desiree is a 16-year product of Adventist Christian Education, and a second generation teacher.  After completing her bachelor’s degree from Oakwood College, she began her career as a 2nd grade teacher at Ramah Jr. Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.  Since that time she has served as a classroom teacher for 18 years; Site-Coordinator and Project Director of a summer Literacy Day Camp program called “Freedom School”; Superintendent of Education for Central States Conference, and Associate Superintendent for Potomac Conference.
