Empowering education with AI
echnology constantly changes the ways we learn, work, and interact. For teachers, understanding generative AI, including tools for both text and image creation, is becoming crucial. Knowing about AI helps teachers keep up with new learning tools, helping them make lessons more engaging and relevant. Teachers can use tools like this to prepare students for a future where AI is everywhere, and they can also come up with new approaches to material in a lot less time! When teachers know how to use AI, they can show students how to use these tools responsibly and creatively in their learning.
As AI becomes more common in content creation, teachers also need to be able to spot work that was created by AI. This helps maintain academic integrity and teaches students the value of original thought. Being familiar with AI provides teachers with the background to guide students through decisions about when and how to use AI appropriately. This allows us to help students find a balance between using technology and developing their own critical thinking and problem-solving skills. For teachers, understanding AI is not just about keeping up with technology, but also about shaping responsible, creative, and thoughtful future citizens.

There are many advantages to using artificial intelligence in education, but one of the greatest benefits enables us to customize the learning experience both for students and for teachers! Join Lauren Boucher for this hands-on, interactive workshop as she shares how artificial intelligence can be used to enhance student learning and engagement. Participants will also explore the benefits and challenges of incorporating artificial intelligence into the classroom and discover tools they can use to implement instructional activities with their students.
Given the number of tasks on a teacher's daily to-do list, it is no surprise they may feel like there are not enough hours in the day. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help educators win back some of that precious time by automating many of their day-to-day tasks. Join Dr. Samantha Fecich for this hands-on, interactive workshop and discover ways that artificial intelligence can be used in the classroom, including personalized learning, adaptive tutoring systems, and educational games. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of AI tools for education and experience the power of artificial intelligence for themselves!
